The FLETA Office of Accreditation (OA) provided FLETA Fundamentals training to three different agencies in recent months.
In January, 2016 the OA delivered a two-day Fundamentals and Accreditation Manager Workshop to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection National Air Training Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
In February, 2016 the OA delivered a two-day Fundamentals and Accreditation Manager Workshop to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Arlington, VA. The program included personnel from three different basic training programs from two of the agency’s training locations.
Also in February, the OA provided a one-day FLETA Fundamentals to training and operational staff at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC.
The agencies worked with the FLETA Office of Accreditation to provide targeted programs to their audience. The programs provided participants an overview of the FLETA process, including the assessment process and how assessors review a program for accreditation. In addition, participants learned about the FLETA Standards and each agency can meet the standards in a way that supports their operational and training needs.
