Ms. Colleen Coleman currently serves as the Division Chief of Background Investigations Training in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency - Center for Development of Security Excellence (DCSA-CDSE). In that capacity, Ms. Coleman is responsible for background investigations training for DCSA Special Agents and Quality Reviewers. She has over 20 years of background investigations experience, beginning as a background investigator and later becoming a District Manager for over 50 investigators in the Pittsburgh Field Office. Prior to being named Division Chief, Ms. Coleman was Branch Chief of the Investigations Training Department which currently teaches Special Agents to conduct efficient, effective, accurate, timely, and complete investigations through the FLETA accredited Federal Background Investigator Training Program. Ms. Coleman is a graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA with a degree in Biology and subsequently worked for Magee-Womens Hospital as a Research Assistant where her research work was published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology.
