On February 1, 2014, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) Board launched the FLETA Community of Interest (COI) site on the Department of Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN). The FLETA COI is a secure site that directly supports and enhances the effectiveness of the FLETA Board and participating agencies in support of the law enforcement mission.
The FLETA Community of Interest includes:
-
secure access sites where the FLETA Board committees can share information and documents;
-
a model practices clearinghouse for accessing and downloading by the FLETA community;
-
a resources library that includes forms, documents, and other informational materials;
-
secure access sites for agencies seeking FLETA accreditation;
-
a training area that includes information on instructor-led FLETA programs, and access to computer-based refresher workshops; and
-
an operational calendar.
Our nation’s front door to Sensitive But Unclassified homeland security information, HSIN is a web-based, information sharing platform that connects all homeland security partners across Federal, State, Local, Territorial, Tribal, International and Private Sectors.
