CBP Air and Marine Operations Receives FLETA Training

FLETA Office of Accreditation Executive Director Joe Collins and Program Manager Christiana Halsey delivered a FLETA Fundamentals and Accreditation Manager Workshop on March 21-22, 2023, to training staff from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) at the CBP AMO Air Branch in Jacksonville, FL. Eleven participants attended the training. Participants were from the CBP AMO National Air Training Center (NATC) Oklahoma City, OK; CBP AMO NATC Jacksonville, FL; CBP AMO National Marine Training Center (NMTC) St. Augustine, FL; and the CBP Air and Marine Operations Academy (AMOA) Glynco, GA.  

FLETA Fundamentals is typically a one-day workshop for delivery to training organization personnel as they prepare and support the organization's accreditation efforts, but may be modified to include: building files, managing annual reports, completing a corrective action plan, and assessing files. The Fundamentals may be delivered in-person or online. Online sessions may be recorded and provided securely to the organization for delivering in-house training or as a reference.
