Initial Accreditation
The purpose/goal of the BIC is to provide participants with the skills to deliver effective
instruction using an approved FBI lesson plan. Participants will learn the fundamentals of adult learning, importance of course materials, lesson plan delivery, facilitation, effective classroom management, evaluating students and observing peer instructors. This course has two graded practical exercises (instructional blocks) requiring an average score of 80% for successful completion. BIC is a required course for all core and adjunct instructors to receive certification.
The teaching environment is traditional classroom or virtual platform.
