The purpose of the Initial Vessel Commander is to provide agency-specific training for Marine Interdiction Agents who are candidates to become AMO certified Vessel Commanders. Training encompasses all elements of the Small Boat Interdiction Program. The program combines classroom instruction with scenario-based training to provide students a robust training experience.
