The LEDITP is a two-week advanced training program designed to train instructors employed with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in driver training subject matter. It was developed in 1976 at the request of federal law enforcement agencies seeking to train law enforcement officers in the principles, philosophies, and techniques of teaching law enforcement driver instructor curriculum.
