FLETA Office of Accreditation Program Managers Christiana Halsey and Lisa Bak delivered a FLETA Fundamentals and Accreditation Manager Workshop on January 9-10, 2024, to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) training staff. Ten participants attended the training, which was held at the National Canine Division in Front Royal, VA. Participants were from the ATF Field Operations Division National Canine Division, Front Royal, VA and the ATF Enforcement Programs and Services, Martinsburg, WV.
FLETA Fundamentals is typically a one-day workshop for delivery to training organization personnel as they prepare and support the organization's accreditation efforts, but may be modified to include: building files, managing annual reports, completing a corrective action plan, and assessing files. The Fundamentals may be delivered in-person or online. Online sessions may be recorded and provided securely to the organization for delivering in-house training or as a reference.
