FLETA Office of Accreditation Program Manager Christiana Halsey delivered a FLETA Fundamentals and Accreditation Manager Workshop to training staff from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) National Air Training Center (NATC) in Oklahoma City, OK. Thirteen NATC staff members attended the program February 22-23, 2023, in preparation for the reaccreditation of the Survival and Tactics Aviation Recurrent (STAR) and STAR Non-6c training programs.
FLETA Fundamentals is typically a one-day workshop for delivery to training organization personnel as they prepare and support the organization's accreditation efforts, but may be modified to include: building files, managing annual reports, completing a corrective action plan, and assessing files. The Fundamentals may be delivered in-person or online. Online sessions may be recorded and provided securely to the organization for delivering in-house training or as a reference.
