The FLETA Office of Accreditation (FLETA OA) hosted representatives from the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) for a three-day FLETA Fundamentals session January 23-25, 2023 at FLETC-Glynco. The session, which covered an Orientation, a Standards Overview, a review of the USCP’s policies in relation to the FLETA Standards, and more, was conducted by FLETA OA Law Enforcement Specialist/Program Manager J.J. Hensley. The USCP staff consisted of Accreditation Manger Lt. Judy Arena, Sgt. Carla Anderson, Instructor Fred Brockington, and Operations Support Assistant Allison Richardson. The USCP is working toward the accreditation of its basic law enforcement program, the Recruit Officer Training Program (ROTP).
