The FLETA Office of Accreditation (OA) conducted a Team Lead Program (TLP) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, April 9-10 2024. There were six students from various agencies attending the program. Program Managers Jennifer Kasper, J.J. Hensley, Cherri Allen, Lisa Bak, as well as FLETA Executive Director Joe Collins, helped deliver the program.
Team Leaders for FLETA must:
- Complete all aspects of the program.
- Serve as a team leader, under the guidance of a team leader mentor, and complete the qualification and evaluation requirements.
Throughout the TLP, students learn various aspects of pre-assessment activities, leading an assessment team through a FLETA assessment, closing out the assessment, what is expected during the Board Review Committee process, managing conflict, and are exposed to a DISC personality assessment.
