The purpose of the CQCTITP is to train Field Office instructors in the proper instruction of all Defensive Measures/Crew Member Self-Defense (DM/CMSD) techniques during a dynamic use of force situation. The student-instructor will learn how to instruct all defensive tactics, techniques, and self-defense through the Explain, Demonstrate, Imitate, and Practice (EDIP) methodology. The CQCTITP is 10 instructional days and consists of 80 hours of instruction.
