The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is a six-day course that is designed to develop basic instructor skills critical to delivering professional instruction, briefings, and presentations, and prepare new instructors for teaching assignments. All assigned personnel tasked with development, management, or delivery of instruction are required to attend and successfully complete the requirements of the IDC at the next available course. Courses include: Instructional Systems Design; Platform Skills; Lesson Plan Development; Copyright Law; Power Point Development; Speech Anxiety; Characteristics of Effective Instructors; and Adult Learning.
