The purpose of the FAA Basic Program is to provide NASA Protective Services professionals with the basic criminal justice, defensive tactics, and firearms training, in addition to, professional development services relevant to individuals needs. The FAA Basic Program is 19 instructional days and consists of 152 hours of instruction. The average number of students per iteration of the program is 22.
